O Divine Mother,
ignorance of the vidhis (injunctions of worship), lack of wealth, and my indolent, lazy nature,
held me back from serving
Your Lotus Feet.
I humbly confess that
there have been failures in the performance of my duties.
But If You So Choose,
O Divine Mother,
All these are Pardonable
By You, The Saviour Of all, O Shiva,
The Auspicious Divine Mother.
There can be kuputra – the fallen disobedient children that turn away from The Divine Mother,
but there can never be KuMata.
The Divine Mother Never Turns Away From Her children Permanently.
