Maa Vaiṣṇavī Is The First Among The Maa SaptaMātṛkās To Emerge From Lord Viṣṇu’s Supreme Form. Maa Vaiṣṇavī Is Depicted Mounting The Fabulous Bird Garuda, And Holding The Weapons Conch, Discus, Mace, Bow, And Sword. Although Maa Vaiṣṇavī Emerges From The Body Of Lord Viṣṇu, She Is The Divine Power Of The Ever-Supreme (Paramā) Divine Mother Of the universe, Operative Through But Not Belonging To Lord Viṣṇu.
