They have been considered As Representatives of Transcendent Knowledge And Power, And As Source of all knowledge which can be known.
As The Maha Devi Is “Avidya” (Causing bondage), The Maha Devi Is Also “Vidya” (Liberating Knowledge). The Ten Maha Vidyas Are therefore Ten Forms Of Liberating Knowledge for bringing about enlightenment.
Vidya, as Brahman, is Sacchidananda (Being, Consciousness, Bliss), And Embody or Transmits Ultimate Power And Complete Knowledge.
