As The Great Sovereign Form Of The Divine Mother, Maa Māheśvarī Is The Source Of Lord Shiva’s Power In His Divine Form As “Maheśvara” (“Great Lord”). Maa Māheśvarī Rides The Bull Nandi, Who Stands On The Four Legs Of Truth, Purity, Compassion, And Generosity, As A Symbol Of Dharma.

Maa Māheśvarī Is Bedecked With The Trident (Signifying creation, preservation, and dissolution), Serpents (Symbolizing immortality, fertility, regeneration, and the eternal cycle of time), And The Crescent Moon (Symbolizing passing time, measured by the lunar waxing and waning). Maa Māheśvarī Is Also Associated With The Auspicious Bael Or Bilva Tree, Whose Trifoliate Leaves Symbolize The Third Eye. By worshipping Maa Māheśvarī one can get rid of anger. Maa Māheśvarī Blesses Her devotees With emotional balance.
